PhD Introductory Event

First of all: welcome to Groningen!

To get new PhD candidates from all across the University of Groningen acquainted with each other, the university and its surroundings, the Office of the Dean of Graduate Schools cordially invites you to the PhD Introductory Event.

Format

A one-day event, filled with interactive workshops, presentations and group discussions.

Practical information

• All new UG/UMCG PhD candidates should take part preferably within the first six months of their project
• Participation is free
• The event takes place in or near Groningen on Thursdays
• The day starts at 9:00h and ends around 18:30h
• Drinks, lunch and a "borrel" (drinks and snacks afterwards) will be provided
• Details on i.e. the programme and the location will be shared by email one week in advance
• A minimum of 15 participants is required
